Outside Looking In!
This rabbit wants in to that garden! It's a tropical carrot cake with cream cheese icing and gumpaste decorations, although the bunny is polymer clay. The "dirt" should really be black, but I didn't think chocolate went with carrot cake, so it's ground up ginger snaps instead. There's no real rhyme or reason for the design, I just have always wanted to make one of the garden cakes so took this opportunity!

The dirt color looks fine. I grew up in the country ... not all garden dirt is black! :) I admire the work that went into the detail of those veggies!

Thanks for your comments everyone - I love 'em! Indydebi - I know re: the dirt, but black would have made the veggies pop more. Ah well. tasty_treats I cut off the bottom inch or so of the popsicle sticks and just pushed them up against the icing. They didn't budge at all.
