Grandma's 80Th Birthday Cake
Made for my Grandma's 80th birthday. I'm from dry El Paso, so the humidity of Dallas threw me for a loop! I'm not that good at writing (either in pen or icing, lol) but I literally had to do the border and writing in two minutes as we flew out the hotel room door (yes, I made it in a hotel room) cause my Dad was complaining about us spending all our time there, lol. So it's not the prettiest piping, but it made my Grandma happy, and that was why I did it.

My Grandma would love this cake. Of course she wouldn't want us to eat it because though the images are edible, she would want to "save" them. I'm sure that your Grandma was overjoyed! :)
I have no idea how I did this in a hotel room! lol andi28 - they are edible images, printed on frosting sheets.
That looks like a very big cake! You did a fabulous job for doing that while in a hotel room and out of your 'normal' environment. Glad your Grandma was happy.
