Mmf Practice on Cake Central

This cake was a disaster, i wanted to try the vanilla chai coffeemate with white cake (delish) and decided to do mmf again to practice with it. the cake doesnt look too bad from this view but it definately shows how much of an amature i am. I tried to do stencils and it came out horrible. Cake is fondant with Royal flowers.

from this angle it looks very pretty. How do you make stencils?

i bought stencils from michaels and lay it against the cake and use your spatula to spread bc over the stencil and then remove the stencil.
