Tiffany And Alan's Wedding
Finally got this loaded! This was last 12/'05 wedding cake for our dear daughter Tiff and her lovely groom Alan.Started on the royal icing snowflakes months in advance.You can't tell in the picture very good, but the snowflakes were all different. They had edible pearls, dragees, rhinestones & glitter.Cake was red velvet to keep in w/the Christmas theme. It was such a joy to do this for her. She's such a sweet daughter!! The cake base was glass blocks w/white lights in the center to simulate a block of ice

No, it was only a 25 light strand. It was on the table and cake was on a board resting on the blocks so it was a good 2-3" from the cake
Considering using the glass block idea for my son's wedding. Wondering if the lights generated any heat that cause a problem for the icing?
