I made these cakes while visiting some family in New Mexico. Some of them thought they were actual plants. I got the idea from here on cc. Thank you to all of you who did these cakes first! I wish mine would have come out as good as yours!

i love the use of terra cotta pots :) I've done this cake many times. i use the flat terra cotta dish and bake a bottom layer to give a bit extra cake :) mines in my photos if you wish to view. i use almond slivers as a short cut for the cacti spines :) i love tosee variations of this cake!
