Thanks guys for all of the positive comments! They make me feel better about it. I'm not sure how many if fed, it was for a little girls first birthday and they asked for a sheet cake with a castle on it so that's what I did.

It looks wonderful. Can you tell me also how you did the brick work. I am trying to make a castle cake for my daughters 3rd birthday.

the cake is 2 11 x 15 sheets side by side, castle is 2 layers 8" square and 2 mini muffins stacked. the brick work is rnd tip 12, pull it to get the length of the brick that you want rather than making a circle. the turrets are 5 sugar cones on ea. side stacked with bc inbetween each, the top one is rolled in purple sugar. the bushes, windows & door are royal icing. good luckw/your cakes, please send me pics when you are finished. me-again@cableone.net
