Cameron's 4th Birthday Fairytale Castle

Cameron is quite the fairy princess type girl. So a fairytale castle was what she ordered for her 4th birthday. This castle differs quite a bit from the Battle Castle I made for Zack. Instead of the stone wall press plate, I decided to create the impression of bricks by randomly scattering patterns of two or three bricks in relief. (more below)

I also made a mistake with cutting the cake, instead of making a pattern with turrets I baked square cakes and then create towers out of circles cut from a rectangular cake. this was a mistake as the towers kept wanting to separate from the sides of the castle...that is the reason you see the cake tipped up on one side so that the tower would not just fall over.

I didn't even notice it was tipped-up on one side, I think it's great! I think the vines add a lot
