Book Cake
I made this for a 59th Birthday of a professor of Eastern culture. This cake was a decatant chocolate cake with a ganache crumb coat. It was decorated in chocolate and ivory MMF. All the words were painted on by hand with gold luster dust paint.

MMF means marshmallow fondant - the recipe is on this site...I know ..it took me awhile to figure it out too!

Excellent - your writing is superb, when the cover of your books overlaps the cake abit - is that the fondant and if so, how do you get it to stay that way?
fortunately (in this case) my work area is a very dry environment. So once I placed the ivory "pages" in place thoses were able to hold it until it dried.
