Round Swan Wedding
2nd ever wedding cake. 1st stacked cake. 10 inch base & 6 inch top layer. Both caramel mud cake with caramel ganache layers. Covered in fondx with gumpaste roses. Matron of honor (considerably older than the bride) ordered this with very little information, she liked a pic I had of a similar cake but wanted swans and a bow. Personally not keen on either of these additions but its what she wanted. All feedback welcome and appreciated.

Thanks everyone. minority you may be this time merissa but I guess thats the beauty of cakes, there are styles for all. Its such a beautiiful thing that we have such variations... must say you made my day by liking the bow....

I agree the bow isn't necessary too but the cake is absolutely beautiful. I do like the swans, but I might have put roses around them instead of in a bunch in front of them... but overall I love the cake!
You have a good eye imartsy as the roses were meant to go around the swans but as the lady is transporting the cake herself and the swans are so fragile I thought it was best if she placed them on herself when she got to the venue and that would have been too hard if they were in the middle of the roses... hence the bunch
