This is my final cake for the first Wilton class. The roses were a pain! The cake is white banana cake with vanilla walnut filling.

Congrats! I just completed course 3 the other night! I know what a pain it can be to learn to do the roses. Save your icing from class and practice at home. Whenever I do a cake, I freeze them on a cakeboard covered with wax paper and then just pop on the cake the best of the lot. I need to work on consistency. Beautiful job on your cake!
