Cats Birthday Cake
Wow! Nightmere on Cake Street! This cake was all finished, I was putting it into the fridge to sit overnight and my shelf came loose and the cake being top heavy took a dive. The bow broke into several loops (luckly none broke) and two sides of the cake and the lid was smeared up against the inside of my fridge. I was able to repair the frosting (cake was not damaged) and thank goodness the lid stayed in place because it was doweled. I was sick all day yesterday just thinking about it.
By the way, I delivered it after work yesterday per my clients instructions to her shop and when I got there she wanted to know if I would come and get it again and deliver it to the birthday site at some local resturant on Sat. night. No way! I felt such relief when it was out of my hands.
You did an amazing job!!! Your cake is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love the colors!!
