You really captured the look and magic of Snow White. I especially like the way you decorated her bodice and sleeves. Bravo!!
Stunning and it is the real deal. You are really talented! Could you tell me how you did the bodice?
Thank you! I made the bodice from fondant. I cut a piece wide enough to wrap around her, then trimmed it to size. I brushed a tiny bit of water on the doll and formed it to her body. The sleeves and collar are gumpaste and were attached after the bodice. I formed the sleeves from balls of gumpaste and worked them into shape using a little ball tool then slipped them over her hands and up the arms.
Outstanding job. She looks just like a real doll. The detail is just great.
Beautiful job!! I'll bet whoever it was for loved it.
THE BEST doll cake I've ever seen. Perfection!
love this cake .my favorite
absolutely stunning. Love the colour of the dress.
This is a beautiful cake, I assume it is a real snow white barbie doll versus the wilton doll picks you can purchase. I am making a cinderella and snow white cake for my daughters third birthday this weekend and I got the actual barbie dolls so it would really look like them and am a little concerned about sticking the whole doll, legs and all into the cake. Did you run into any trouble when you made yours?
Excellent job! How did you do the scrolls in gold?
Your cake is beautiful :D Very nice job on all the details!
Those bees are really cute, I am making a Winnie the Pooh cake for my niece this weekend and I need to make some bees for the honey comb...I was going to make them out of fondant, but yours look really good...how did you do them?
:) What I beautiful job! She is just perfect.
:) What a beautiful job! She is just perfect.
Gorgeous! New here, so sorry if this is obvious, but how did you do the gold swirls and dots on the dress?
Very cute, I love snow white
Beautiful cake - I was also wondering if you put a full doll in the cake or just put the head of a snow white doll on the cake doll?
WOW!!!!! That is amazing.......what an awesome job.
I used the full doll, but I think you could just put the head on a doll pick also.
I love this! It makes me want to attempt a doll cake. :) Would you please tell me how you did the gold scrolls on her dress?
