It's gumpaste, the Wilton brand. I sift it twice before adding the water and knead it forever!
This cake is beautiful! What color did you use for the yellow present?
Wilton's golden yellow (or is it goldenrod yellow?)
I'm a beginner and LOVE cakes like this. It is awsome. When serving, do you take off the fondant? I heard you aren't suppose to serve it with the fondant.
I always put a buttercream layer under the fondant, and I use a brand of fondant that tastes good (some really don't.) So there's no need to take it off.
