The castle was SO much fun to make. YOu'll also notice the small cake to the left-that was for my neice, who turned one. She was able to play--and wear--that cake while everyone else enjoyed a piece of the castle!

Yes-I did make the mistake of putting them on the night before though. I suggest you wait until right before you serve the cake to put the smarties on. Some of the pink ones are a little discolored.
