This is another adaptation of the marbled christening cakes I have done. It was a pink, yellow and white, frangipani themed christening, so this is what I came up with. The flowers are artificial and the bear is ceramic.
Thanks everyone!! The lettering is done with cutters. They are FMM brand Alphabet cutters. The marbling is easy once you get the hang of it. I colour my icings first, so for this cake I had the amount of fondant I needed, left 1/2 to 2/3 white, then coloured 1/2 the remainder pink and 1/2 the remainder yellow. Then I line up thick sausage type things of each colour next to each other (white, yellow, pink, white , yellow, pink, white). Pick it up and smoosh it all together a bit, then roll.
