I have to make the same cake for a wedding next weekend, 3 tiers stacked, square, ivory with chocolate fondant bow. I notice how shiny your bow is, is that with Lustre Dust, I don't have that and can't find any in Calgary, do you know what I could use instead? Also is each layer double?? Your cake is beautiful

I got the MMF as dark as I dared with Americolor red, then I used claret luster dust on top. HTH

I used a red lustre dust for the bow. I am not sure what else you could use. If you have any pearl dust you could mix it with a petal dust. Or maybe try brushing it with piping gel. And yes, each tier is a double layer. Good luck on yours next weekend. Be sure to post a picture!

Beautiful cake! How did you get that merlot/red color for the bow? I am making a cake in a couple of months and the bride wants that color. Thanks!
