My First Time
This is my first attempt at a cake with fondant, I did a basket weave for the top and then buttercream icing for the rest of the cake. Any comments / constructive criticism welcome!

Very impressive design, perhaps the "beads" over power your basketweave a bit. I think its a wonderful design.

I love it -- especially the colors. I think if you had something else on top like some flowers it would keep the pearls from overpowering the weave. I still like it though. It looks nice but still makes me want to eat it!
thanks man, I cut strips of fondant in two colours and then wove them together, one over one under. :D
