Pretty In Pink!
This is made up of sponge cakes, all on separate cake boards and dowelled. Sealed with royal icing and trimmed with ribbon and braid. Brushed completely with snowflake luster dust and decorated with Loveheart sweets and piped royal icing hearts using a No. 3 tip. Once dry the piped hearts were dusted with snowflake also. I cut the 18 using cookie cutters and wired it, left to dry then glued it, covered completely with glitter. Maribou feathers complete the design.

Is that regular glitter or edible glitter?
The glitter is non-edible non-toxic and food safe. If it is used on the cake itself it should be brushed away but the 18 on this cake wasn't going to be eaten.
