Two tone colors of pink and purple buttercream on this baby girls' clothesline cake. Fondant baby clothes, buttons, bows and butterflies.
I love your cake
Cute, cute, cute! Great detail Kim~
such a cute cake! love the little clothes! how did you get the two tones on the cake, they are so even??
Thank you all! I used the larger icer tip to put the purple on first in one big stripe all the way around, then the same way with pink on top. Then used a Viva paper towel to gently smooth the seam together.
So so so cute!! How did you make the buttons?
I used a tiny round cutter then use the pointed end of tip #2 to make the holes and the rounded end to make the inset circle. But it's hard to see from this picture.
I love this one, it is sooooo soft and adorable.
So cute and beautiful colors!! What did you use to make your butterflies?
The butterflies are fondant. I drew a pattern and cut it out and let dry on a piece of cardboard folded in half to make the bended look.
Just beautiful! You did a wonderful job!
So cute! I just went to a babyshower this weekend that had the clothes line gag and it was too funny! That would of been a perfect cake for it!
Too Cute! I love the clothesline idea! colors and buttons are great!
