Morning Glory Cake

this is a dummy cake made on a cerealbox with all royal icing. I made the mistake of reading the Wilton directions for the morning glories AFTER I tried the flowers. I saw this combination of flowers growing wild alongside the road. The pink flowers are called knot weed in Missouri.

Wow!! I never would have guessed the dummy cake was made on a cereal box!!!! What a wonderful way to save the expense of getting styrofoam!! Does it hold up well? And yes, the cake is gorgeous. I love the caketop design. I also like that you took a "still life" of wildflowers on the roadside and created a unique expression in icing. Bravo!!

Very pretty. Don't worry about the morning glories. They are such a pain in the butt to get right.
