Ceiling Fan Cake
This cake was made for a funny little guy who is VERY intrigued by ceiling fans. All the decorations are edible and made from fondant/gumpaste.

So cute! HOw did you make the ceiling fan hang? i love it. Very cute idea, we all know those little munckins who are intrigued by fans!!
Correction: the wires that the fan hangs from are just that -- wires (i.e. not edible). The original idea was to place the wires through both cake layers and them have the fan dangle over the boy. Unfortunately, I had a brain-fade and forgot the top cake layer is resting on cardboard and was unalbe to pierce it without my tools (I was already at the party). Plan B was to wrap the wire about some cabinet handles from above (not seen in photo) and dangle it over the boy.
