This is a French Vanilla White Chocolate Cake with a family recipe (not sure what it's called) icing similar to buttercream, but it doesn't crust. I made this for my mom's birthday. She doesn't like the crusting BC, so I tried this icing for the first time. It worked out pretty well, but since it doesn't crust, I couldn't smooth it. I tried this "spoon effect" instead. I covered the entire cake in super pearl luster dust.
