I won't go into the gorry details of this cake, don't ever agree to do a red wedding, especially in buttercream! buttercream, fondant accents, cake batter was also red and the filling.
I did a tiny elmo cake for my daughter and was ready to give up and make him pink! I can't imagine what you went through with this cake but it turned out absolutely fantastic!!!
Ha! It's the red cake I think you spoke of awhile back. Well, it's beautiful, but I am imagining all those red teeth and tongues walking around in dressy attire. LOL!
It might be severe overkill, but it's a gorgeous cake. I know that even if you use no taste red color, it's still got to have some aftertaste w/all that red. No matter what, her guests will be talking about it for years.

Wow! Great job! The bottom layer especailly is SO symetrical!
It may have been a pain, but it is CLASSY! I love the monogram as well.
Wow! Spendidly gorgeous!
Oh, but you made an artwork of it anyway. It is beautiful. Bet you don't want to see anything red for a long, long time...:D
drop-dead gorgeous! How many jars of color did you go through for this?

Love the color!!!! Beautiful cake!
that is so cool. great job
Well it's red, and it's fabulous!! Although I agree....not a nice thing to do to your guests!
What brand colouring did you use, and, how much did it take? It is striking.
I use Americolor gel paste color, it took alot almost a whole large bottle! This is 9 batches double batches of icing.
