My first attempt at a seashell cake. Shells are chocolate, painted with luster dust. Seaweed is freeform melted chocolate.
Sea Shell Wedding Cake
That is beautiful! Where did you get your choc. molds?
Online from sugarcraft. You might check at your local craft stores also, but I live far from one so it was easier for me online.
Very beautiful :) What did you cover the cake in? It's really shiny and I was wondering what type if icing or fondant you used :)
Beautifully done!!!! I love it..
Thank you. It's MMF, but I used a light coating of crisco to roll it out, which gave it a little shine. I had sticking problems when i used powdered sugar.
Beautiful work, great looking cake!
Fantastic cake. Your shells look so lovely, I really like the luster dust on them. Is luster dust edible?
Your cake is so beautiful! The star fish look real. This cake is going into my favorites!
