Flowerpot Cake
This is the first time that I've tried making flowers that actually turned out. I'm pretty happy with them... Its a maderia cake with orange buttercream inside and covered in fondant. The leaves are fondant and the dirt is made from grated chocolate.The flowers are made from the left over orange buttercream.The flowerpot isnt very even,so a fondant smoother is next on my 'to get ' list.
Also,thankyou to ntertayneme for the buttercream roses on a stick method.I made these on the end of a lollypop stick.I found it a lot easier than using an icing nail.
