My husband's Aunt turned 75 this past weekend, and she had never had a birthday party in her life. Needless to say, when I heard that, the party plans began. She absolutely loves sunflowers, so this is the design that I came up with in my sleep! The whole cake is made from scratch. Double Chocolate cake on top, and an old family recipe pound cake for the bottom. Cake was iced with Buttercream and decorated with silk flowers. She loved the cake.
