Chinese Take Out Box
This was definitly a challenge! This is a vanilla cake covered in fondant literally pieced together wall by wall. I free hand painted on the red graphics with food coloring gel. The fortune cookies and fortunes are made from gumpaste. I wrote on the fortunes with food safe markers. Whew! Glad this one is done...did I mention this was my second attempt? First attempt turned out like a giant lump of fondant because I thought I could just cover the entire cake with fondant...I don't recommend that :)
