This wedding cake is one I just did for a wedding tonight, one of our good friends. I love doing wedding cakes for friends!! They are always so appreciative. It's all buttercream with fresh roses.

Hi, beautiful cake. What stand did you use? It looks great with the lights underneath.
The cake stand is just a 22 in. silver plateua. The lady decorating the reception put some lights in a sheer fabric around the base of it.

Your fresh flower arrangment is beautiful, how did you do it?
I'm trying to remember how I did it. I wasn't supposed to actually, but the florist was running out of time and asked if I would do it. Basically, I just eye-balled it until everything looked like I wanted it to. I think I did have some sort of oasis to put the stems of the topper into.
