The cakes are wrapped in white chocolate plastic and the ribbons and flowers are marshmallow fondant. This cake is so heavy. I always make too much. :)
Edited to add: I welcome any constructive criticism. Really!
Chocolate plastic is 16 oz. melted chocolate mixed with 1/2 cup corn syrup, kneaded after it sits overnight. quite a pain to work with but I wanted to try it out. :) It's supposed to be blue but I messed up the color a bit. :)
I love the color. Would never know that you didn't intend it to be that way! I agree with shortNsweet that it looks like steel blue on my computer. How did you get it that way?

Did you dye the chocolate plastic blue to get that color? And, did you use dk. chocolate? or white?
Thanks. I used super pearl dust. Not sure if it was petal or lustre dust.
I love how you made the fondant to look folded and wrapped. Great job!!
what do you use to make shiny work, is it Petal Dust, Shimmer Dust, or Luster Dust? Gorgeous cake!!!
Gorgeous! Even your cake board is lovely, very nice.
Great job ! Cakes look so shimmery. Fondant nicley done!
I love how you folded the corners! What is white chocolate plastic?
Oooooo, very pretty! I really like that color blue! ( or is it gray?...it looks like a steel blue on my computer)...very nice cake!

very classy!!!!!!!
very pretty and the color is great, it popped right out on the screen
I used delphinium blue for the color and I used white chocolate, which is actually yellow so that was a pain.
I love the way you "wrap" your gifts.
This is so pretty! I love the placement of the ribbons and bows.
