Thank you, I carved them from a 10" square, 2 inches high (3 when finished). i covered them in one piece of fondant, then added the strips (pizza cutter) and used a clay extruder for the border. the sand is granulated organic cane sugar and gold pixie dust held down with a thin coat of clear piping gel.
