Jazz Bar Cake

chocolate fudge cake covered and decorated with fondant icing made for Jazz Bar's 4th Anniversary. I got the idea for the saxaphone from Cakecentral, thanks!
The cake is decorated with 'sponging' in the bar's colours of green and old.

Thanks so much for your flattering comments. I would like to share with you the fact that this cake was a disaster at first as my fondant all cracked! That was when I thought of sponging it and adding frills to it. It is all a cover up! Thing is we don't always get it right first time but you can usually find some way of hiding your mistakes! And remember, the more you make the better you get! When I look at some of my first efforts I cringe, but we all have to start somewhere!
