Emily's Castle Cake

Emily's Castle Cake on Cake Central

This was a two sided cake for my daughter and nephew's birthday party. The girl's side had Cinderella, the boy's side had an executioner. The cake is red velvet, decorations are buttercream and the turrets are held together with royal icing.

This looks fantastic! I love the idea of a double sided cake. I also like your turrets . . . what a great idea to use ice cream cones for the whole thing. I like that so much more than using things that aren't edible!

Thank you!! I've been making cakes for a while, but this is the first one I was brave enough to submit. The turrets were a big hit with the kids. : )

That is so pretty! Love the colors, flowers and vines! (I really like the little touch of adding Cinderella, Gus and Jacques!). Very clever idea splitting it like that!
