Wow 8O I wouldn't think doing that many freehand would be easy!! lol Great job!
it was an order for 100. It actually took only 30 minutes to do the black on them all. I hope someone orders these for a wedding, now I'm all practiced and ready to go!!
heh.. Antonia, I KNEW these where your cookies.. gorgeous as usual:)
I wanted to tell everyone that I used my new Americolor dye for these. WHAT a miracle! It took about 1/2 the amount of food colouring I usually have to mix in!! Thanks to someone for their advice in the forum last month!!!
What is the icing? It looks like dark/white choc!
What can I say....simply adorables¡¡¡¡hermosas¡¡¡¡ congratulations ;-D
So cute!!! You really do amazing work, if I ever get half as good as you, I'll be happy! :)
Wow...you guys are so inspiring! Thanks!! The icing is royal icing.
The white royal for the heart is so perfect! You make me ill! Not really! I absolutely enjoy looking at your work. It is so inspiring to ME!!!!
The secret to making it look pro is to use a bit thicker royal icing...like pancake batter consistency...and you don't need to do the outline/fill thing anymore. (It's impossible if the cookie is a really complicated shape...but hearts, circles, cakes, etc. work well.) Just outline and fill in one quick motion. Try it...it takes practice, but WELL worth the time you'll save!!!
I love your cookies!
I too knew these were yours as soon as I saw them, awesome job, your cookies are an inspiration
Thank you for the tip!
Yes, the Americolor dye is great isn't it! And you did a great job on these!!
Did you cover the entire cookie in white, let that dry and then come back with the black on top of the white?
Oh, those are so elegant. I love them!
Great Job! Love these!
These are very cute indeed!
That's got to be the same cookie photo-shopped next to itself--just kidding. They're perfect, and look yummy too!
sorry for the triple tech diff's
oh i've been looking for tuxedos but they're all black with whtie vests (black if hard to do as you know) how long do you let the white base dry before doing the black-i hate it when it bleeds
