White cake, vanilla-almond butter cream with faux fondant frosting. 16, 12, 8, 4" layers. My nephew and his fiance asked me to make a wedding cake with fondant and fresh roses for them. I used toothpicks with gum paste rosebuds to hold the flowers on the cake. It had been many years since I decorated a cake, and I had never done one with fresh flowers.
