I cut this from two half sheets, iced in bc with fondant red stripes.
Awesome job! :) How did you do the lettering?
this is super cute! if it's iced in bc how did you get the creased look?
I use the papertowel viva method to smooth, so when I am all done smoothing, I take my papertowel and lay it on the cake where I want my crease, then I take my fondant smoother and put it on top of the papertowel, then I push the bc sideways and then I do the same thing on the other side of the crease to form one crease, I used the same technique on my bass fish I did, it is on my pic page. Hope this helps:)
Thanks for the comments everyone, there is not too much to the directions on this cake. I stacked the 2 sht. cakes on top of each other and then carved the btm. of the shirt and then added some of the cut pieces to the sleeves to make them a little longer. Iced the cake in bc, made creases and then used my little wheel cutter to cut red strips for the sleeves and shirt, used the wheel cutter and exacto knife for the braves name, Let me know if you have any other ques.
my 14yr old son would die for this t shirt i will have to borrow your design for him and his beloved ATL braves. if you have any other helpful hints please send them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am duplicating this cake as a Cardinals jersey for a 5 yr old's bday next week. Was wondering how you did the MLB symbol and Authentic at the bottom. Are they fondant too or did you print that out? BTW, this is an AWESOME cake! The little boy I'
making it for flipped when he saw it and didn't want anything else!
Sweetrat thanks for the lovely compliment, I will pm you with directions
