Cards Cake on Cake Central

Fondant/gumpaste mix accents... I used food coloring markers to create the cards for this 80th birhday cake. I really really wanted to make poker chips, but Esther wasn't a big poker fan!

The poker table is very classy looking for a woman...nice work! As for the cards- UNBELIEVEABLE! I looked at the "up close" picture you posted too...wow! The queen....yikes! How long did she take you? Is that possibly why there is only one face card?

Thank you so much for the compliments! And YES - that is exactly why there is onl 1 face card! She took over and hour and a half to make. When I was done with her, I decided it was in my best interest to stick to the lower value cards! :D
