Lindsay's Wedding Cake
This cake was made for one of my favorite brides. It was a white cake and red velvet cake (a layer of each) filled with my own version a creme brule filling. Lindsey called me a couple of days before her wedding to tell me how much she was looking forward to her cake, and especially the creme brule filling. The cake was covered in buttercream, then fondant and the design was piped in royal icing to match Lindsay's dress. The floral topper is the toss bouquet.
Elegantly simple and just beautiful. Sounds yummy too.
What tips did you use to make those details?
I used a tip 3 for the vine, a 101 for the rosebuds and a 352 for the little leaves.
Ohhh...did I hear creme brulee filling! Sounds yummy!
Simply elegant. I love it!
