This is my first wedding cake, and it was for 300 people. It's a four tier square cake using Wilton's Push In Pillars, and covered in ivory fondant. The cake weighed a ton, 15 lbs. of fondant was used. I then used a sugar shaper to make four square shaped ropes stacked on top of one another to make a small wall. At the end of each corner I overlapped the ends so that when one corner started and another corner ended they looked more fluid on the corners. We used the bride and grooms initials on the top.
