My Very First Cake!
I made this cake off of a Wilton design in their cake decorating book. I never took a class, but self-taught lesson #1... read the recipe carefully!!!!! I accidentally added 3/4 cocoa AND unsweetend chocolate to the icing when it said OR. Icing was bitter chocolate.. ick! Also learned from scratch cakes are dry! This one went in the trash after everyone in the family tried a piece, good learning though!

It's so pretty and looks tasty! Keep trying. There are some great scratch recipes that aren't dry at all!
Hershey's cocoa box has an awesome recipe that is very moist! Cake looks beautiful by the way! 8)
