awesome job. What is the cap/mortar made of? And how did you do those gold ribbon/fondant accents on the side? it's very classy and pretty.
Thanks for all the nice comments! The brim of the cap is made out of fondant, the bottom part is cake covered in fondant. The tasle is made out of fondant and painted w/luster dust. I used a rope mold and my sugar gun. the side gold pieces are also a mold painted w/luster dust.
