Michael's 1St Communion
Inspired by SugarShack design. Yellow cake with buttercream and fondant accents. Between the new Crisco and the humidity I had to re-ice this 3 times and wasn't able to imprint design on the sides. I think it turned out well inspite of my troubles. I hope the customer did to!

Beautiful cake! How did you make the cross and plaque? Is that fondant as well? If so, how did you do the outline?
Thanks! The cross is fondant on a lollypop stick. I used my clay extruder to make a rope in blue and attached it around the outside of the cross. The plaque is fondant with an edible image on it.
