Thomas The Tank Engine Island Cake

My son's 2nd birthday cake. Chocolate mud cake covered with MMF. All figurines made with fondant and dusted to finish. Sea made from blue gelatine.

when i first say this my thougths were "holy mother of &*^%%$, is that a cake?" ...awesome job !!!!!! my son would love this for his 3rd bday...how on earth did you make the bridge? i would be totally grateful for simple instructions, [email protected] been on this site for a couple of years, butive never asked anyone for instructions ! this is simply awesome! thx :)

Wow! This cake is fantastic. I cannot believe the detailed work. Especially the rocks, they look so realistic. You must be an artist. Well done dittle!

Just wonderful! 8O How did you eat it? Just cut it up and dive in? or did you separate it out or what! it's great!!

The water is made from dyed gelatine. The children loved it. They all took some figures with the slice of cake. My son's got the thomas of course.

Yes he was excited. He thought that the train was a real toy and cried because it wouldn't stick together like his other magnet trains. Cute!
