Rose's Castle on Cake Central

My daughter allways wanted a "Sleeping Beauty" birthday. So this year when she turned 6 she got it, complete with cake and everything.

It's funny-you try to come up with a way to do something and maybe have that work out, but then you get another person's input or their way of doing it and you just kind of go "now why didn't I think of that?" This is why I love this site!!! Great job! Very pretty. ;-D

The cake is 6' and 10' that you cover individually in foundant and stack on top of the other, for the lower turrets I covered medium flower formers (Wiltons) and fir the upper ones I covered some 1' pvc pipe in foundant and let it dry out for 2 days. All the assembly I did with royal icing, and the tops of the turrets I formed free hand and "glued" them on with royal.

I love the simplicity of the design. The windows really show up so well and the vines add just the right touch. Fantastic job!
