Autumn's Wedding Cake!

Autumn's Wedding Cake! on Cake Central

This cake was for Autumn's (a co-worker) wedding. The tiers are vanilla and chocolate, filled and covered with buttercream, with Fondant on the outside. There were also two 12 X 16 sheetcakes since there were over 200 guests. I used Royal Icing for the swirls, line accents, and to hold on the silver dragees on top (to match the silver "Z" for the top accent). Thank goodness for ribbon -- I used it to "bridge the gap" between layers! It was fun, and the bride loved it!

Very pretty. Looks like fabric. Nice work. Are the flowers real? How did you put them in the cake?

Thank you! The flowers are real -- they're each in one of those plastic flower thingies made to add flowers safely... I didn't know what flowers were coming until I got there, though...
