Wow - your cake is just beautiful and so much attention to detail. Love the moon - is it suspended by wire?

ncbert Says... 8 years ago

WOW....great details!

julzs71 Says... 8 years ago

jsmith Says... 8 years ago

Wow. How did you do the cobblestone? your cake is fantastic.

Juliequeen Says... 8 years ago

The moon is from the Lemax Spooky Town collection (I bought it at Micheals for 90% off after Halloween. I knew I would use it for something one day. It is on a telescoping pole and the battery pack (yes it lights up) is hidden under the gum paste flowers.

Juliequeen Says... 8 years ago

The Cobblestone is rolled marbeled fondant and the mortar is a very thin royal iceing.

SweetResults Says... 8 years ago

Stunning! How did you do the leaves on the bottom layer of the cake? Very pretty.

brilandken Says... 8 years ago

Beautiful!

aine2 Says... 8 years ago

What a beautiful cake. I really like your colour choices too.

Juliequeen Says... 8 years ago

For the bottom leaves I rolled out white gum paste then cut it out using an ivy leaf cutter then made the indentions (veins) with my ball and veining tool. Colored them with bright gold, Aztec Gold and Green yellow Luster dust.

Thank you all so much for the positive comments. You are all to kind.
