WOW !!! what a wonderful job! I love this !!
You have GOT to be kidding me! That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen!! How in the world did you do it? I have a person who wants a replica of her cat for her birthday cake. No idea how to go about doing such a thing. This is amazing! Great job.
When you do a cake this COOL....you know we need to know how it was done.
I am in awe! Would you mind sharing how you did this?
Thank you! I love doing animals. I began with the 3D stand up lamb pan. This is a very versatile pan when making animals. Then I made a 13 x 9 cake for the tail, legs, ears and snout. Fondant for the eyes and nose. When icing, you should start at the bottom of the cake for a good layering effect. I used the grass tip. I shaded the chest and tail with white icing and the ears with a chocolate brown. The snout has shorter hair and is a couple of shades lighter than the body.
Wow! I was just checking to see if someoneone had done a Golden Retriever- I want to do one for my husband! You did a great job! I'm going to have to get one of those pans!!
