This cake has been in my favorites for the longest time, and hopefully in August I will get to *attempt* your masterpiece for my nephew, Alex's, 4th birthday. Thanks SO MUCH for the inspiration! Keep up the great work!

what type of icing did you use for the windows? I love this cake!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kelley9 - I used just regular BC icing tinted dark yellow. I went with yellow because I felt it looked more like a cityscape at night (Gotham City cartoonish, sort of??!! ) haha

my 5 years old son love this cake so very much, it gave me a headache, I never bake a cake before and now I must try it.Argh.. any tips for a newbie?..btw do you use any dowel rod to support the cake? thank's
