Grandparents Practice Cake 8"
I am still trying things for my GP's 50th. This is a version of the tiered cke from Wilton's Tiered Cakes book. I am not good with flowers and figured you can't mess up sottas! Tried my own dream whip BC and wilton's icong for the sotas since the last time it clogged my tip. Tip #1 still clogged, but only about 10 times compared to every inch in the last one! any tips? Tried a pound cake recipe with the raspberry filling too, we will see how they like it at work tonight!!!
I like how it looks like a lace overlay. Working with the #1 tip is difficult, so don't stress over it too much! Thinner icing is all I can recommend for you.
