Thanks so much everyone! When I was proposing ideas to this client he was actually stuck between the Vitameatabegamin one or this one. What I ment by washing several shades of brown over was that I layered the colors. I used Mahagony dust that was diluted with vodka fairly well is it could get down into all of the woodgrain marks I made. I then let it semi dry so when I went over it with Coco and Mushroom the semi dry color would pull the Mahagony out of place in some areas. This gave more dimension to it.
