FOr a co-worker's 50th birthday party. Chocolate cake with cookies-n-cream filling and buttercream frosting. We lightened the picture up some to try to get the lace detail to show better, but it's still dark. I need photography lessons!
Oh, I forgot to mention that Boween has a few of these cakes in her photos, thanks for the inspiration. I made fondant circles, cut a little bit of the top, then let them sit on a waxed-paper wrapped mini wonder mold for 2 days. I used a lace mold to fashion the lace that went on the cup.
Jennamama - the cups of the bra dried on a min-wonder mold pan for 2 days to make it look full and to keep its shape. I was very happy with the results because I did not add gumpaste or gumtext to it and was a little concerned about it being too soft - but it worked just fine!
